I think we had a couple of route mixups in this last game, but one of the things I've been happy to see (and that has cut down on interceptions) is Dak knowing what route his receivers are going to run. We saw where options last year led to miscommunications. This year, the only option a receiver has for a route change is if it is communicated by the quarterback or he audibles to another play.

And team is putting #3 & #4 receivers better into routes than the defense covering them. There are now many...many plays that can be set up with strong predicatbility on who will be open at least in a 4-5 second window.

We have started to see long completions now, and regularly. Flexability and the run will be next in appearing and having to be dealt with by opponents. I don't care how good they presently think they are.

They have a good scheme going on, misdirection can fool you every time. As long as they don't have to worry about Dak just standing in the pocket, that is good...he can pick and choose his direction, so far, looking good.

Don't fool me...

Question...

Would Jerry publicly say Dak is playing the best he's ever seen before contract negotiations if Coaches were relaying to management that Dak is producing well but making bad audibles, reads, progressions, throws?

I dont know. Lots want to say we are a very badly run team...I think Jerry, Stephen, Will, Scouts know if Dak is consistently making good reads, throws, plays. My opinion.

I suspect even Charlotte knows the correct information.

CeeDee and Cooks screwed up one of the early plays against the Giants, both running deep routes to the same spot on the field.

Obviously they figured it out the rest of the game, but ya, this thread reminded me of that play.
