Recent website rankings and "bashing's"

So, over the past few days' I've read a couple of articles that had us ranked lower than I'd expect and finishing behind teams I feel we are better then. Even though, to me, we've had a much more productive off season than other teams.

I'd like to go on record and say. GOOD! Let them under estimate us. We've had the most success in recent years when the Media under estimated us, last year being a great example of that!

Secondly, these kind of "articles" are written to serve one purpose... CLICKS! Us Cowboy's fans read them with general discuss and humor and rival fans read them with hate! The headlines used are pretty obvious.

With that said, I do think we have a better team ON PAPER this year than we had last year.
Schedule seems about even to me with last year.
And the division seems to have stayed pat with last year.

Giants might be a little better and the Eagles a little worse.

I love these negative article. I want our team to feel disrespected.....like they got to prove the haters wrong. I hope they keep it up until they can no longer deny how good this team is. I feel it boys....the stars are going to align this year.....SB 50 is ours.

I think analysts and reporters are dumb when they praise dallas and dumb when they dont. I dont think what they say should enough weight to have any effect at all.

14/16 games on our schedule are the same as the Eagles, Giants, and Commanders schedule, granted a lot of teams get extra rest for us, but we also will likely get the Pats without Brady.

II mean on paper the only game I look at and am like... OK we should have that easily (ignoring division games) is Tampa. And if Jameis is cooking... You never know.

Thought the same making the list. 14 toss ups. Problem is that every win is precious with the race for HFA.

It's why I said on paper.... And why I'm not losing sleep over it.

But as we stand today.... Each week looks like a grind. CAN'T WAIT.

What the national mediots say shouldn't carry as much weight as it does. Generally they are lazy and don't really dig into any story any more and do very little (if any) investigation on the topic they write about. It's very clear we have members in here that think and live Cowboys 24/7 and know better what is going on with our team and what the Cowboys are thinking. While we still get curve balls from the Cowboys, generally speaking someone can start a thread and several pages later we have beat the subject to death but there is a good understanding of the issue and what is best for the Cowboys. I'll take that any day over some of the "reporting" I see in the national media. ANY DAY.

The Vegas line tells you more about expectations than anything Peter King writes will tell you. And besides, none of that matters, anyway. I like us, the Cardinals and the Packers and Seahawks in the NFC, but that doesn't mean there won't be other really good teams turning up to knock somebody off.

The Vikes look like a pretty good dark horse to me if Teddy doesn't have a sophomore slump.
