I'm torn: I don't know if we will become a more run-focused team with our stable of backs, or a more pass happy team with our stable of receivers.

So I'll just go off Tony Romo's averages.

Since Romo has become the starting QB of the Cowboys . . . he has averaged 343 completions a season.

How do you see those 343 receptions being broken up among the cowboys receivers/backs?

I'd say:

Witten - 84
Austin - 75
Williams - 57
Dez - 52
Bennett - 26
Jones - 17
Ogletree - 12
Phillips - 6
Choice - <10
Barber - <10
5th receiver - <5

Numbers are way too high

Witten- 68

Austin- 82

Roy- 49

Dez-42

i cant see our top 4 guys all having over 50 catches...that will be kind of wild...specially with our Backs wanting the ball more now...and Defenses wont stack the box

So Bennett, Ogletree, Phillips, and the backs will account for over 100 receptions, according to you?

My opinion

Austin - 85 - 1150 yds
Witten- 80 - 980
Williams 55 - 750
Dez - 50 - 700
Crayton - 28- 400
bennet 24 - 300
JOnes 12 - 100
Barber - 20 - 150
Ogltree - 10 - 100
the rest < 20 - 150

we become more of a passing team IMO. I think Austin will see less double teams and he can exploit that and he shows he is not a one year wonder. probably see a lot of dez and williams in the slot and that creates havoc for defenses. caryton's numbers naturally drop. bennet will be slightly better but not by much because its too many options before it gets to him.

I sure hope Felix catches more than 12 passes next season.

I know, if we can utilize (more effectively) the swing pass with him or a screen, d-cords are going to have a heart attack

All of this talk about becoming a running team is ridiculous. He can say what he wants in the offseason, but when the chips are on the table and the game is close Garrett is going to throw the ball ... even when the running game is a more favorable matchup. He's shown this. It's like Mike Martz every offseason saying he's going to use his TE more, and every year he doesn't use his TE.

Austin - 115, 1900 yds
Witten - 101, 1200 yds
Crayton - 100, 1350 yds
RW11 - 98, 1001 yds
Dez - 96, 1480 yds
Felix - 90, 1100 yds
Bennett - 88, 980 yds
Phillips - 75, 750 yds
Hurd - 73, 940 yds
Otree - 70, 939 yds
Choice - 65, 650 yds
MBIII - 60, 585 yds

Championship!!!

Witten will have the most catches.

Austin will have the most yards.

Dez will have a great combination of both.

Roy will likely cherry pick all the redzone TDs again.

Romo will throw for more completions than his average
