Didn't realize he was that big now. 323. I think I'd kick the tires on the guy. Have him play a little SDE and a little DT.

His DC from Seattle was was hired as the Head Coach in Jax last year. They cut him 1 year later. That seems to indicate a problem. It's not as if they needed the cap space.

My guess is that he got to fat.

Yeah, that looks like the case. After winning the Super Bowl, he went after the money to the pit that is Jax. Maybe coming back to Texas would be good for him. I think if he got motivated and still wanted to play, he could fit in here. Big ifs.

Doesn't seem like the speed edge-rusher DE that Marinelli likes to use. Not sure about this one.

It seems that he played primarily at DE. I don't know how he would look as a DT. He has the size of a 1tech.

Still think he'd make a fine run stuffing 1 tech. He probably did get too fat for Seattle/Jax but we don't run the same type of 4-3. They were using him as SDE in their hybrid front. Put him in the middle of our line and take him out on 3rd downs. He's no doubt gotta be an upgrade over Hayden.

That's kinda where I'm leaning. Maybe his days of being on the outside are over, but I think there could be a place for him inside.

I think the Cowboy are confident that Josh Brent can be the run stuffer. If they add a DT I expect it to be more of a pass rusher.

He was in similar systems and he was put at SDE on run downs instead of the 1T. I don't see the love. I would prefer McClain and Brent battle it out at the 1T and let Hayden go. But I'm sure Marinelli will bring him back. No sense in spending money on that guy.

Would he be a difference maker, a big difference maker at that?
We have plenty of good decent rotational depth guys. We need a player that is a force. That will probably need to come in the draft, and let one or more emerge in TC. Rather drafted or already on the roster.
