Red Bull Space Jump... Live

He's going to be jumping during the Cowboys game so I will have it on the laptop while watching the Cowboys.

I had read 10 minutes myself the other day. Don't remember where.
Yes I read that 10 minute a few days ago but couldn't find the link. The best info right now is 20 seconds delay.

My bad, I thought you were making a bad joke. Sorry man.

They are saying the winds have pushed the capsule further away from the launch site than anticipated. Recovery area has to move.

This is the second time I've heard him say something about not feeling heat. Hopefully nothing bad happens and this stays as planned.

It's the face shield. If he steps out at that temp with no heat there the condensation from his breath will freeze and he won't see anything.

Oh, well that's very serious because how will he know his altitude and when to release the chute?

I wonder if he will have communication with Mission Control during the fall...

How will they know? Seems like the all of the gauges are fixed to the pod. Either way, I pray everything works out as planned.

I'm sure they have calculated the rate of descent and could remotely trigger the parachute if he were to have a problem. Just a guess on my part though.

The first part of what you said seems plausible. As silly as this might sound--I wonder if he could aim his breath away from the visor. As simple as that sounds, that might actually work. :D

Don''t know how much mobility he has within the helmet area.

I thought he was jumping at 23 miles but he is past that now.

I'm only seeing something like 90k feet not 120+

121k is 23 miles
