If you watched the game yesterday, you saw that bizarre stat they posted that had the Cowboys ranked 2nd to SF in RZE at home with a 78% efficiency in TD's and only better than DET in away games at 33%, the difference is more than dramatic. 2nd best to 2nd worst is crazy.
Want something crazier than that? Of course you do. The only NFC team with a better road record than the Cowboys is AZ, 7-1, to the Cowboys 6-2.
In D.C. last week they had as many RZ failures, 5, as they've had all season at home.
I thought it might be interesting to pose some thoughts about why you think this disparity exists and maybe take a break from beating up the team for not winning pretty.
The simple answer is communication on the road but that's the same challenge for every team and doesn't explain one of the oddest stats I have ever seen.
The QB gave his stock answer "I don't know but we've got to fix that". I'd swear Romo left his book of stock answers to Prescott as a parting gift. He loved "we've got to get better at that". Should have been a drinking game trigger.
So, why so good at home and so bad away?
