Red-zone mistakes

The Dallas Cowboys had a season-high four penalties within the ``red zone,'' the opponents 20 or closer, during Saturday's win against Philadelphia.

In 16 regular-season games, the Cowboys had nine red-zone penalties. For all games, tight end Jason Witten has a team-high five penalties in the red zone. Witten's penalties include three false-starts and one motion call.

This scares me more then anything right now. We are playing so well and have momentum, and I hope we can clean up the penalties from here on out so they don't impact a game outcome.

Witten has been entirely too penalty prone. He's too good for that crap.

Witten destroyed that one drive.

His false starts are becoming way too common.

Witten needs to get that stuff corrected if Dallas wants to win on the road. Team penalties kill you on the road, especially in the playoffs!

I'm sorry but it's about time Witten got called out for his boneheaded plays. Wake your *** up.
