Red Zone, scoring

Cowboys go on and 8 play Drive. When they get to the red zone Elliott's a little bit gassed. Who do they rely on to bring it in , the rookie Pollard. The old veteran Jason Witten. After all it was Dak Prescott who threw Jason Witten his first-ever playoff touchdown catch.
Call better plays is my vote!

The corner fade is something that has never been in Dak's arsenal. I hope it is this year. Until he learns how to throw it ... I hope we leave alone.

Last season was Zeke's low, by far, and does not define this season. The entire team struggled in the red zone last year, and for that to change Zeke will have to be more involved.
Yeah but what do you think we do going further that's what I'm asking

Great shape isn't football shape....he'll be limited on Sunday
I understand that. I don't think anybody played this preseason enough that's why it always looks sloppy coming out of the gate. Looks like we're still in pre-season I'm sick of it. I think Elliot has been running into stone walls Under the Pier to help him out LOL

He's been working on that would gallop. Seems to be hitting it

Aside from Zeke, I don't think there is any one or two targets that have to be the guys to make the difference. The idea of balance is to have options, not to focus on one thing. But to discuss those options, Jarwin makes some sense (big target who moves well), Cooper, Cobb and Witten run great routes, Gallup jumps well, Pollard will be a good receiver out of the backfield, and, of course Dak always adds TDs with his feet.

Look at the Patriots, for example. They were one of the top scoring teams in the NFL last year (5th), yet they didn't have a single player with double digit TD's. There were 7 players that had between 3 and 7 TD receptions, and 3 players that had between 4 and 6 TD runs. 7 is the most TDs anyone had.

I don't think Dallas can exactly fit that mold because we won't likely shuffle the RB work between several players like the Pats do, but on the receiving side we should be able to take advantage of options.

It's always about balance I agree. Patriots, for them it's about matchups constantly. That's why so many different players get touchdowns it's not planned it just works out that way. And they have the talent because they teach the talent

The Cowboys have the talent as well - at least as much as the Pats (with the exception of QB - Brady is in a class of his own). It's just a matter of using it. Moore's time as a player (meaning Boise State, not sitting on an NFL bench) was about running a diverse offense, with multiple options both in the running game and passing game. I hope he is able to work some of that mindset into the game plan and his play calling.

Yes, I am positively sure that Garrett sucks, and therefore, Moore will suck by proxy.
Yeah we went to the second round of the playoffs last season with the youngest starting team in the league LMAO
