Red Zone, scoring

The Cowboys have the talent as well - at least as much as the Pats (with the exception of QB - Brady is in a class of his own). It's just a matter of using it. Moore's time as a player (meaning Boise State, not sitting on an NFL bench) was about running a diverse offense, with multiple options both in the running game and passing game. I hope he is able to work some of that mindset into the game plan and his play calling.
I think Brady has his worst games during the playoffs. He has that one great Drive. And no I'm not comparing him to Prescott LOL it's all about coaching it truly is

Brady wasn't good in the playoffs last year from a TD standpoint, but he did average 318 yards per game. The year before he was a monster in the playoffs both in scoring and yardage (average of 377 yards and 2.6 TDs per game). Of course they lost in the SB that year, but that wasn't his fault. It's mind boggling a QB could throw for 505 yards and 3 TDs ina Super Bowl and lose.

Cowboys go on and 8 play Drive. When they get to the red zone Elliott's a little bit gassed. Who do they rely on to bring it in , the rookie Pollard. The old veteran Jason Witten. After all it was Dak Prescott who threw Jason Witten his first-ever playoff touchdown catch.

How about we plan ahead and play Pollard/Morris earlier in the drive so Zeke is fresh in the redzone? It's very annoying to see our redzone back come out when we hit the redzone.

I thought that's what they should have done more of last season saved him for the red zone

Pollard's best fit is early in a drive when there's the most field for his speed to stretch. Zeke's best fit is in the redzone where his power is most needed. Naturally this means we'll start all drives with Zeke and bring Pollard in at the opponent's 30 when Zeke gets tired.

Hey, I could write a book on what wold help this red zone O ...

in terms of personnel on he team - it's fixed, healthy off season + Fred, Wit, Pollard, and Devin

in terms of play calling - forget the coaches - it's on Dak,

none us have real idea of how much flexibility Dak has with play calling,
but the battle is at the LOS

Blake Jarwin is the solution.

Last season was Zeke's low, by far, and does not define this season. The entire team struggled in the red zone last year, and for that to change Zeke will have to be more involved.
There’s room to improve in 3n1 and 4n1 carries also.

I couldn't agree more. We can't be smarter than the coaches can we LOL

Last year was just a bad one overall for an offense that has typically been pretty darn good. Here's hoping things improve. I suspect they will.

The corner fade is something that has never been in Dak's arsenal. I hope it is this year. Until he learns how to throw it ... I hope we leave alone.

who needs the "corner fade: throw when you can be considered to be the best at "Commanding the Huddle"
