Redrafting Brugler's mock draft

Yes, but we don't necessarily have to absolutely hit on the DT because we have a quality starter in Odighizuwa and first-round NT in Mazi that we're still trying to see if can reach his potential. IMO, if we miss on the RB, then it's last year all over again but even worse because we don't have Dowdle.

I also think the lower value of strict NTs increases the chances of finding one at that point. Usually, those types get pushed back because everyone wants the DTs who can pressure the passer. That is why a Tyleik Williams may be there in the second.

Both NT and RB are positions where the talent may be greater (compared to other positions) than the value. However, I remember a thread that showed that there are only five RBs in this draft considered locks to be starters. I'd like one of those.
Dont agree at all
DT1T is #1 priority for me
Osa is a 3 and disappears late in the year
Mazi is crap

By that logic we have 3 RBs on the roster

In addition good RBs can be had in rds 3-5 this year

Im taking Williams at 44

Harmon @ 12? Thank God you're not the GM.
Brugler has him as the 16th-best prospect, just one spot lower than Golden. After the first 9 or 10 prospects, this draft kind of levels out.

I understand. We have too many needs. In a perfect world, I'd take Harmon at 12 and Williams at 44 and finally have the defensive line that we've needed. But I can't see us doing that because we have bigger perceived needs elsehwere. I love that Jane Slater has Walter Nolen among the three players we're supposedly considering in the first, but I think that's a smokescreen. I don't see us drafting a DT before the third.

You'd have to be a moron to miss on RBs this draft. It's the one area where we've got lots of options all the way to the 5th round.

I think Golden is the smokescreen, it there is one. I can't imagine he has a first round grade.

Depends on how many first-round grades we have. I think he's third tier; the same as most of the players who will be available to us. I think there are four first-tier players, maybe six second-tier players and then a bunch in the third tier. Like I've said, Brugler has him 15th overall.
