The Men’s Journal article heard around the football world (yes, that’s the first time that phrase has even been written), has already attracted a lot of responses from readers, the media, and even the NFL.

Now the Steelers are ready to chime in.

“I have not yet seen the article in Men’s Journal nor have I spoken to James Harrison about his comments. We will discuss the situation at the appropriate time, when permitted once the labor situation is resolved,” Steelers President Art Rooney II said in a statement.

There have been many reports that the steelers teammates really don't like or respect Ben at all but man, he got trashed in this. :laugh2:

Glad to know we're not the only ones who think Big Ben is a jerkhole.

Hines Ward's DUI and now this! I'm loving it.

Getty Images Steelers linebacker James Harrison has decided that it might be better to stay quiet for a little while.
Less than an hour after an ESPN talent producer Jason Romano announced via Twitter that Harrison would join SportsCenter tonight (at the highly-watched time of 6:05 p.m ET), Romano said Harrison backed out.

Getty Images Earlier today, we wondered aloud when Steelers linebacker James Harrison would begin to offer up excuses for his inflammatory comments about Commissioner Roger Goodell and teammates Ben Roethlisberger and Rashard Mendenhall.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports, citing former Steeler Merril Hoge, that Harrison told Roethlisberger that the writer of the Men’s Journal article “twisted” many of Harrison’s comments, and that Harrison did not intend to criticize Roethlisberger.

That's what steroids do. They make you hostile and do idiot things without thinking about the repercussions.

The NFL should cut ties with that idiot.

I think Pittsburgh has no choice but to trade this guy.

Where is RealCowboyFan? He wants any and all knuckleheads that that fit this description.

I'm sure he lands in Dallas.

He’s so polite and talks so softly that he could tell Goodell to kiss his ***, and Goodell would smile and say thank you.” -Harrison on Troy P
