It was much improved tonight but they still have a ways to go. I don't understand why Moore has to call gadget plays when we get down there. It's either a reverse, a double reverse, or quarterback draw after we have marched all the way down the field. He does it every game and every game it is a wasted down with either a loss or just a few yards gained. He needs to learn to stop doing that and stick with what got us there.

I think some situational drills when we are pinned deep need to be worked on too.

The 2 plays I complained about last night.
The pass call from the 5. There you just run the ball, get a few more yards, if not a 1st down. You do not pass it with an empty set against the Eagles front 7.

Then the stupid reverse from the 5 which cost a TD. Though the refs blew that call later with Dak. But that is not the point. That play call was a bad call at that time.
I could see it from the 10 yard line, maybe.

He settled down after that. I think someone, maybe Nussmeier or MM got in his ear and told him to stop. Or maybe he learned and figured it out on his own.
But he called a pretty good game after that.

Last night 80% redzone. I still disagree the refs on Dak QB sneak and felt it was a TD

People in here that are expecting 100% red zone efficiency every single game are in for a long season.

Well yeah but you also need to keep defenses guessing, I'd agree he gets too cute sometimes, but overall I'm okay with his red zone play calls...

Yes sir, if there's one good thing it's that since some of the poor play was self inflicted, that's under your control...

I hope Moore learns. Last night was definitely better but these cute plays have got to stop. If you're struggling in the Red zone then why run plays that haven't worked all year? Why keep doing that? We have plenty of weapons and then he resorts to tricks. I can't stand it.

I really think we need a good blocking FB or take one of the lineman, offensive or defensive, and start putting them in at FB and just power it in. Especially when the run game is working like it was last night. No need for reverses, or draws, or empty backfields from the 2 yard line.

Oh, so that actually didn't happen last night. Cool.
while i think dak got in.The narrative that we cant score 7 is slowly getting debunked. I dont get the play calling sometimes and i do see concerns with both williams and Biadisz

Last night was much better than the previous two weeks.

He sometimes gets too cute no doubt but it’s not picking. Moore is a stud in only his 3rd year.

I remember when he got rave reviews as the quarterbacks coach. I truly believe he'll be our next head coach here.
