Why?

Reeves: Proven short term leadership at the top. and he's up for it.

Sparano/Garrett: Continuity plus fresh ideas at OC

Manusky: Up and comer learning under Wade for the last 3 years.

Sure seems like a better plan to me than unproven leadership at the top (Wade/Norv) and using a guy like Bowles as DC whose most recent influence coaching defense is BP/Zim.. even if he'd otherwise be more "aggressive".

Whats wrong with this? Reeves is uh... old?

Whatever... he just turned 63 a week ago not 73.

You know what DipChit it might just be the best alternative. This would allow JJ to have two gifted up and coming coaches to be mentored for the future.

I dunno.. I myself would've thought Dan was done but after hearing him talk at the Shrine game I was surprised to hear he wanted back in and said his health is fine. Then even calling VR to boot.
