Reeves is the real deal...*Merge*

I think Reeves has played well enough to deserve a new contract.

We really can't afford to lose him to FA.

This is going to get me flamed but I honestly believe it to be true.

With Newman back we are a better secondary with Reeves in there instead of Henry.

Granted Henry is more physical and has a knack for getting the INT but he is ALWAYS hurt. This exposes his weaknesses even more. Reeves on the other hand is far better cover corner and has the speed to keep up. Henry may do well against bad passing teams but the Pats would severely expose him. Teams create mismatches off Henry and with Reeves in there they cannot do it. The first game against the Giants is a perfect example of what I am talking about.

Henry is good but he has slow hips and he is not very fast.

Flame on you Henry homers!

I'm glad we have Reeves playing for us.

We need all the help we can get.

I am curious how many people see how well Reeves is starting to play. You can tell the coaches are more confident in him because they are allowing him to play at the LOS more.

True. I hope he learns to use and trust his natural ability a little more.

Well, if Reeves could supplant Henry at CB, then the FS position would be solved.

I thought he played better than given credit for in game one, and has continued to improve. The only time I have ever really seen either guy beat bad or give up silly passes is that ridiculous soft zone coverage. Our DBs are better man to man, and they should be allowed to play that way.

I'll take Henry's 4 interceptions as opposed to Reeves 1, and I really like Reeves. What does the fact that he's "ALWAYS injured" have to do with not playing him when he's healthy?

Ever year he is playing through injurues. Name one year he has been healthy. Then everyone excuses his poor play due to injury.

Reeves is pretty good. He's definitely got speed over Henry. But there's no question that Henry has better ball skills. It's not even close.

When healthy Henry is a very good Cb. And no our Secondary is not better with a hurt newman in the field. It's worse by a good margin. newman cant move the field the same..Look at his Interview, Newmans facial expression says it all.. " He's not ready"

From a depth perspective Henry's injury is very bad for us. Tnew is still not healthy and we are coming up against some tough teams.

Please re-read my post. I asked what does that have to do with playing him WHEN he is healthy. You implied we should change the starting lineup. I'm saying, for the time being, play him when he's healthy.
