I remember last offseason. I remember FA and the draft. I remember thinking, " it sure doesnt feel like we did anything substantial on that O-line... It doesnt feel like we did anything substantial at safety... And i remember others voicing their similar opinion as well. So here we are at the start of the current offseason, with the EXACT same problems (sans cornerback) as last year, and the year before, and the year before that. While the individual loss was disappointing, it wasnt unexpected . What worries me the most is that i have zero confidence that we will successfully address these issues this coming offseason.

Why do we consistently fail to solve our biggest problems year in and year out??

Does anyone else feel this way??

I have no clue what to expect & how they can structure deals where we can have plenty of space to go after a quality o-lineman & d-lineman. For example, Andy Levitre & Henry Melton.

O Line, and safety have been an issue for us for years. I would hope this would be the top priority this off season. I do think they made substantial improvements at the CB position (I think Mo will be a much different player after a year of experience and an off season in an NFL weight and conditioning program).

I would love to see a guard taken in the 1st round of the draft - don't get cute - take the best guard available. I think we have a keeper in Parnell at RT. he is big, long and athletic.

Costa made strides at Center before getting injured. Livings improved as the season went on. Smith will be a stud at LT now after getting his feet wet.

Sensy is just OK but I think Church will be questionable. A DB coming back from an Achilles injury when he really wasn't that fast to begin with could be trouble. I was surprised the team signed him to an extension after the injury. Weird. We need a rangy safety that can tackle in the open field. Get that and this D, if healthy, can be one of the league's best IMO. We need Spencer though.

Church probably wont be 100% again next season... And he may never be up to form again. He wasnt the type of athlete that had a step to lose. And then we gave him an extension, tying up precious, precious capspace.

So now our hopes are dependent upon Matt johnson to stay healthy. Or maybe a draft pick if we decide not to fill other glaring issues among the front line first.

I feel that next year will be totally wasted if Garrett is brought back in his same capacity, meaning HC and OC.

If he comes back, he has to be stripped of play calling duties, he simply cannot make adjustments, attack a weakness, or be aggressive. He simply gets outcoached every game.

If he comes back as HC/OC we will not make the playoffs, I am calling that right now.

Because the team is cursed.
