News broke about an hour ago. I'm surprised nobody started a thread on it already. Anyway, my thoughts: I agree that the refs were a mess, but I think a lot of fans (for every team) were using the refs as an excuse for why they were losing or not doing so well. Well, now, no more excuses. Let's play ball.

Happy to see that the refs were letting go some of the DB and WR jostling.. that's how it should be. Also glad to see that the hit on Josh Cribs wasn't called a penalty at all. Unfortunate for Cribbs, but he'll be alright and that's part of football. Great hit there. Although, the other hit that Pollard made shouldn't have been penalized.. but i guess i can't ask for everything in the new age NFL. Solid first game back for the refs, imo.
