Refusing to take the RB room seriously

Jerry Jones and this FO went another year without addressing the RB room.

Henry was sitting there. And instead of going after him, the Cowboys were waiting for him to call them. Thats how this FO operates. They bring in Zeke (great move/sarcasm) and thought that would fix the problems? Look at the successful teams in the NFL. Every single one of them has a run game that actually is efficient and takes the pressure off of the QB.

Why did Carr look so good minus our defense staying at the hotel and not on the field? Because Kamara was torching us and was his safety outlet. This FO thought a bunch of rookies and Zeke were good enough.

Who wants to be they trade for a RB now and waste more draft capital to correct their mistakes?

I have been saying all off-season that the RB room is going to be a problem. Well. You saw it. No need to beat a dead horse.

Waiting until the last week of the season to sign CeeDee and Dak. Why not sign them, then use that cap money to sign a RB. Jeeze I would have been happy with D'Onta Foreman.

Zeke was brought here because of Dak. That is the only logical explanation.

But none of that explains why it took so long to sign Lamb and Dak. It seemed like they wanted to wait it out a year as far as Dak was concerned.

Exactly, we brought Zeke only to make Dak happy, why because he's the ONLY back in the world that can pass block! Horrible, now we will get desperate at some point and make a trade, if they do trade, I hope it's a 5th rounder nothing better!

Only because this RB room is wierd....the leading rushers in the NFL right now are still system RB's that has not changed...when you put a bad system with bad RB's then it really comes out...look at the SF RB, he is doing just fine without CMC...raise your hand if you had JK dobbins leading the NFL in rushing in week 3....OL>System>RB the order hasn't changed neither has MM's run scheme since Brett Favre...

JK Dobbins was the RB they should have went after. He was actually cheap, young, and great. Was coming off an injury.

Put these turds behind a good OL wouldn't make that much of a difference. Just remember Barry Sanders, and you will see what I mean. I agree with what you are saying but don't tell me that a top-tier RB wouldn't be better than Zeke and Deuce. I have been jumping up and down, hitting my head on the ceiling for Dowdle to get more carries, and here we are. He is our only back with a burst, and MM refuses to give him touches. He touched the ball 11 times on Sunday

I'm still in shock people want to blame just Zeke/RBs for our run game woes.

I'm not saying Zeke is ace. And I would not say a fresh top stud wouldn't make any difference at all.

But the whole thing looks disjointed and no cohesiveness or solid game planning/adjustments. I've seen better organization and execution on a playground pickup game.

But then...I don;t claim to be an expert like so many others do..so...there's that.

There’s zero juice. It’s a bunch of old washed up guys and a bunch of guys who just flat out stink. Zero playmakers.

The Cowboys brought Zeke back because he was in their price range. The goes for all the RBs they tried out. Why is anyone guessing about the reason. Look at all the players the Cowboys signed. They have one thing in common. They are all cheap. They may have wanted Henry or Aaron Jones but they were never interested in signing anyone that would cost them that much money.

This team was depleted in the offseason. Now we will reap the penalties for it.

It’s just not even fair to Guyton and Beebe.

Hey guyton and Beebe. Our running game has been garbage for 3 years now. But we need you two, to be the saviors of our running game, all by your lonesome in your rookie seasons. While we have washed up or never has been RB’s running behind you.
