Did you notice that our short yardage/red zone back seems to be getting plays in space or was that just me?
Yes, he's not bad catching the ball out of the backfield, his outside running is there.

Lol! Stick to baseball
that's pretty dismissive and ignorant on your end to be honest which doesn't shock me on this board. By your theory, the RB position is useless, and even I could run behind a Pro Bowl OL....you do you

The ignorant one is you, if that's how you took it...tells me you don't know the game very well.

How else should I take a comment that suggests that I stick to Baseball? You have suggested I know nothing about Football twice, so it's time to look in the mirror. Pot, meet kettle

OP forgot Dallas signed Royce Freeman, who couldn't even make this roster.

Loaded RB room. Dalvin Cook, former pro-bowler is on the PS.

Jerry Jones and this FO went another year without addressing the RB room.

Henry was sitting there. And instead of going after him, the Cowboys were waiting for him to call them. Thats how this FO operates. They bring in Zeke (great move/sarcasm) and thought that would fix the problems? Look at the successful teams in the NFL. Every single one of them has a run game that actually is efficient and takes the pressure off of the QB.

Why did Carr look so good minus our defense staying at the hotel and not on the field? Because Kamara was torching us and was his safety outlet. This FO thought a bunch of rookies and Zeke were good enough.

Who wants to be they trade for a RB now and waste more draft capital to correct their mistakes?

Reactive, not proactive.

I have been saying all off-season that the RB room is going to be a problem. Well. You saw it. No need to beat a dead horse.

Waiting until the last week of the season to sign CeeDee and Dak. Why not sign them, then use that cap money to sign a RB. Jeeze I would have been happy with D'Onta Foreman.

Sickening!
so we mad we didn't get henry again?

lord if you don't sign the favorite retread, the season is over.

Henry is light years ahead of the trash we have right now. And this isn't a compliment to Henry but more to show how bad our RBs are. We easily have one of the, if not the, worst collection of RBs in the league. It makes the 2015 collection of McFadden, Dunbar and Randle look like hall of famers.

Aaron Jones, Joe Mixon, Derrick Henry. All guys who could easily carry the load here and on a modest salary.

No idea if this front office felt burned by Zeke and Pollard the last years and decided to go the total opposite direction and go as cheap as possible at RB. But there is a fine medium from handing out huge contracts to the RB and being as cheap as possible. There is an abundance of RBs that come out of college every year and can be had in rounds 3-5. This RB room is embarrassing.

The easiest way to control a game is to churn out first downs on the ground. But with us, any yardage on 3rd down over 1 yard is almost a passing down.

Stop cosplaying as a fat balding ex coach ....... only your silly crew believes you were a coach ....... pretty much everyone else knows you are making it up.

Now post some poorly photo-shopped pics with you and old players

It's not too late .....I would call the Steelers about Najee Harris and the Cardinals about James Conner with a 6th round pick. Both players are in a final contract year.

Doesn't make sense to make no effort to improve the roster and still sign Dak and Lamb to record contracts. Don't give me cap BS, doesn't seem to bother other teams.

We have 2 rookies on the OL and RBs that aren't anyone's heroes, as far as their abilities are concerned. It'll take time for that to improve. In the meantime, all the bellyaching in the universe won't help to alleviate that deficiency. We can expect far less than ideal offense in the year to come.
As long as Jerry & Son are in charge, the Cowboys are likely going to suffer the results of insufficient management. We can expect that, instead.

It's amazing the Cowboys are weak at RB and DT considering they ignored the positions during the off-season. Only interested in hearing the Joneses dance around questions about the run game on both sides of the ball.
