Who here, that previously argued my point regarding Romo's lack of ability to play past November, would like to revisit now that he has done it again? I'm open for discussion.

That's 5-10 now in his career after November.

Get someone in here that will challenge him for the starting position and make him realize that you have to work hard for the coveted QB position for the Dallas Cowboys.

I said this on Chat today. I think Romo is done after this game. I think this is going to damage his pshyche (sp?).

I believe he hasn't won a playoff game in College either. Yeah, he took his teams to playoffs in IAA. When you have this much evidence, there is a truth to the fact that Romo doesn't or can't win big games. Something happens for him to lose the game. Whether it be Defense playing bad or Offense playing bad etc.

Now personally I never was and have been a believer in Tony Romo. I had hopes I am wrong about him, but he continously proves me right, regardless of me wishing to be wrong.

Future will tell if this indeed damages him permanently.

his 15 minutes of fame are officially up.

i really had hope for him...but damn he is the most immature, careless qb i've ever seen.

What exactly is it that you guys dont understand about salary cap and contracts and cap hits???

WE GAVE ROMO A ZILLION DOLLAR CONTRACT.......WE CANT RELEASE HIM, WE CANT TRADE HIM, WE CANT BENCH HIM MAKING THAT TYPE OF COIN.

If Romo is done, so are we.

There are consequences to giving players more money than is in Fort Knoxx. If you make a mistake and give the wrong guy the money, you are screwed for years and years.

All Boyz fans better start praying that Romo turns it around soon or we at least surround him with enough talent that we can over come his mistakes............because he is not going anywhere fellas.

I don't care what kind of stupid predicament the FO has gotten themselves into with Romo. They had better be burning the midnight oil trying to figure how to fix it. I'm not for Romo going elsewhere but I have been, and am still, for bringing in another QB to compete for the starting position. He can sit his 60+ million dollar aw shucks *** on the bench and stew for a year if that's how it has to be...

I doubt many will argue with me about it now.... Your untouchable boy Romo is developing quite a December reputation.

He went undrafted for a reason.

Come on...interceptions are like punts, turnovers no big deal, and if we don't make the playoffs next year...okay...

put this together with the body language he shows when things go bad and he is a tremendous leader!!! Not like that Peyton Manning or Tom Brady...he leads by fumbling, turning the ball over, and going to Cabo...get off his back!

I just have one question. Did Romo play one down of defense or special teams today?

Peyton manning didnt win a playoff game in 7 seasons. I'm not saying Romo is as good as Peyton, but Im pointing out that your not always correct.

Sure did. That in no way changes the fact that Romo had zip to do with the poor tackling, the repeated blown assignments, or the stupid penalties committed by the defense.

Blaming Romo for the teams late season failures is just silly. He's a part of the problem, but if you think a different qb would have won with the effort the Boys put out today, you're nuts.

I know.. I know...

To some, like you, Romo can do no wrong...

To me.. He has done plenty wrong after November ends every year he has started.

That bulletbroof vest can only hold up for so long under a barrage of bullets aimed at the heart that does not exist.

spin spin spin

and actually Manning won two playoff games in his 6th season.

It's kinda misleading to point that out anyway, they missed the playoffs twice in those 6 yrs, so its not like he was o-for a decade or something... he lost his first 3 playoff games before starting to win some.

Ultimately it gets tiring to say "well this player did that over there, or this player did that over here" when making excuses for our guys. The fact is Romo has stunk all 3 yrs as a starter in December and January, period. I dont care about other teams players, and ultimately nobody else should either.

That doesn't make any sense. First of all, Peyton, wasn't crappy in December, which Romo has been so far. If it is just playoff wins, then thats one thing.

ON the other hand, Eli Manning comparison would have been more appropriate. I believe he hasn't had winning December other than last year. This year he went 1-3, just like Tony.

Again, I am not gloating about being right etc. I am hoping I am wrong and be proven wrong. But I have not been a big fan of Romo. Never thought he was a sollid QB, i..e guy who can take care of the ball in critical times, at least not most of the time anyway.

Romo is not the problem any more than missed tackles on defense and poor special teams play is the problem. They are merely symptoms of the problem.

Romo has proved that he can play at a very high level. He needs better coaching and an organization that reinforces accountability and discipline.

Not until we were down like 3 touchdowns and he was forced to try to make a play.

I've said it all day today, his turnovers come from trying to make plays because he feels he has to do it all himself. I can't be mad at that.

This is as silly as those saying Jerry is a good GM.

Romo has a lot of bounce-back and was injured all year. If he is given some coaching & his body heals up he can be a very effective QB.

unfortunately Romo is limited by our coaches. bad coaches (like we have) will bring out the dummy in Romo.
