6. Tom Landry -- The Fedora had 20 straight winning seasons, made five Super Bowls, and was my mom's favorite coach because he looked so nice on the sideline, unlike certain coaches in cut-off, bottom-of-the-hamper sweatshirts you might find at your finer Goodwill stores.

Besides maybe having Gibbs alittle to high at #2 I can't argue with the list tbh.

Not having Parcells on it basically makes it a worthless read. His reasoning is idiotic. When your forte is taking over reclamation projects and moving on a few years down the line, your overall win percentage isn't going to be as high as guys who stick in one spot.

I just looked that up gibbs did win two superbowls in strike seasons.

He might belong on the list, but not at #2. I also agree with the other poster who said Parcells belongs on the list.

I agree 100%. no Parcells makes this list worthless. he brought teams back from death and made them relative again.

another coach worth mentioning would be Bill Cower. He took Kordell Stewart and Neil Odonell to the playoffs, that alone should count for something

Yeah Gibbs too high at #2, no way should he be ahead of Landry.

Cost him his jobs? He left every one of them.

Unlike Gibbs, what Parcells proved is he can go anywhere, with any team and any front office and any QB, and immediately turn a team around.

The list is garbage without him.

Yeah, Parcells not being in the top 20, when he has won two superbowls, appeared in another (with a different franchise), went to a conference championship game (with a third) and 2 playoff appereances (with a 4th) is laughable.

You could argue Gibbs over Parcells, I certainly wouldn't, but you can, but some of the others are ridiculous.
