I think there is some validity towards Parsons calling guys out for missing assignments and asking them not to play selfishly.

The D is playing hero ball and they need to get back to maintaining the edges and their gaps. We have enough talent we shouldn't be getting whopped like this in the run game.
There is simply zero excuse for it.

heck no, you cant be serious

Hate to break it to you, but each year this becomes more and more the case. I will fully admit that it used to be the other way around. Times change…and 27+ years of ‘nothing to worry about’ changes fanbases’ perceptions.

The old-timers will disagree, but they’re just not being honest about how perception is changing. This thread is just a small example…but it has been changing in this direction for years

Some of that is on coaches for not having the guts to say "If you don't do your assignment and choose to instead go do your own thing, you'll be benched or cut and we'll find someone who will cover their assignments."

And the not having guts to say that is because of Jerry Jones who wants to be the players buddy and undermines coaching authority.

Sorry but Dallas fans are a hell of a lot more infatuated with Philly than the other way around.

LOL. What? Last time I checked Cowboy fans don't have a "Philly" week like they have "Dallas" week. And our HC don't walk around with "Beat Philly" t-shirt to please the fans.

In the long run it's better for the Eagles to lose a game. Don't know why they're so mad. They have the division and probably the #1 seed ( they have the tiebreaker with the vikings)..

thats this year because we are behind them and they had been undefeated playing a patsy schedule. Its not always like this. But take Philly and they are always chanting Dallas sucks almost every game in every season no matter the context. You need to expand your memory beyond a couple of weeks
Let's stop with the "pasty \ soft \ easy \ cupcake schedule" ********.
Except for THREE GAMES - EVERY NFC EAST TEAM ARE PLAYING THE SAME DAMN SCHEDULE.
2022 season so far:
- NFC East teams wiil \haved played the NFC North and AFC South = 8 games against the same opposition.
- Eagles played NFC West Cardinals..and won; Cowboys played NFC West Rams.. and won.
-Eagles played AFC North Steelers - were victorious; Cowboys played AFC North Bengals - same result.
-Eagles will host NFC South Saints New Years Day 2023 - outcome pending; Cowboys hosted NFC South Buccaneers in the season opener - and lost.
So -- elaborate on how the Eagles schedule "is pasty" compared to the Cowboys.

We need this team to play as one and not a bunch of mercenaries.

I honestly do not know how Q addresses this, it's a speed D built on getting to the QB, but it seems like Q totally disregarded the fact that teams will start running right at you if you can't stop it.

You can say that, but us "old-timers," (I'm mid-40s), have been around long enough to know what the changes we're seeing actually mean while some of you who haven't been around long enough can obviously only speculate.

No different from what many Cowboys fans have done since 46 & 1/2 hours ago here :
'Season Over'
'Cowboys looking ahead at 6-4 and beyond'
'Not what I expected after a bye week'
'MM on Schultz and Parsons calling out teammates, lots of frustration'
'Why does Moore hate the run game?'
'Is OBJ a necessity now?'
'What would Sean Payton change?'
'Rush scares Dak to death'
'What can be done to save this season?'
'Dysfunction'

Pot - meet Kettle

Nah, some of us knew a loss was coming. It happens to the best of teams, literally. So, you can't overreact to things like that. This game was on McCarthy, yet he blamed the players, which I don't like.

Still, it gives me pleasure knowing that all the Cowboy fan towards the Eagles really is what I suspect it is: overrated hype.

I'm mid 50s and have watched this rivalry for 4 decades+, so I myself am more of an old timer than you. It used to be much more or a one-sided rivalry. Eagles fans cared, while Cowboys fans cared more about the other NFC East team with too many names. It's changed dramatically. Eagles have been the Cowboys biggest rival in the division for well over a decade, if not closer to 20 years. Each year you see way more threads here about the Eagles than any other team. And the last few years (since 2017) you see way more Eagles topics here than you see Cowboy topics on our board. Some old Cowboy fans won't want to admit to this pivot, but they aren't being honest with themselves. It just is what it is.
