Has backfired immensley. I don't care if I get yelled at for thinking this. If anyone here really thinks that Vinny is an upgrade, you are mistaken. He has been careless with the ball. If he even gets a spec of pressure, he is doomed. What the hell do you think is going to happen to him when we play the Eagles?

At least QC had the opportunity to avoid the rush. If he is in the game, we win by at least 6-10 points.

I don't want to hear about this drug crap....If it was such a concern of BP, he would have been released the year BP started. Believe me, BP knew about the past positive tests. And what exactly did he test positive for. No one will ever know.....

Finally for those that want to say that QC is not here and it is water under the bridge, I have this to say to you. The move was huge to get rid of him. It had a domino effect. We are left with an old a** QB running the offense and a whole lot of inexperience at the QB position for the next couple of years.

I hear what your saying. But the move seriously had an impact on the season. Unfortunately the move has really hurt Dallas.

I am more than positive that with VT this 6 -10 team is better than Quency "the bus seat warmer" Cater - thank you very much.

Last year was a fluke. Quincy was just lucky to be a part of it.

I have said this for awhile. As soon as VT struggled, the Carter lovers will come out in droves to say I told you so. It is water under the bridge and saying the team would win more with Carter is pure speculation and an absolute waste of time.

I am not happy the team went with Vinny either, but his play was hardly the reason for the loss today. The TD pass to Keyshawn was a beauty. Several nice connections to Glenn. Outside of RA, the running game was lousy and the pass protection today was less than stellar.

I still don't see how VT could have prevented that fumble, yet it is his fault. Some of that has to go on RA as well.

This was a team loss today. Terry Glenn looked good. That was about it.

What else can the team do. You can't have a your starting QB be a druggie. Put the blame on Carter. He just an idiot. But now that grandpa Vinny is stinking up the joint. At least Henson can get on the field sooner rather then later.

Gettin rid of Quincy was a mistake. I was glad when he was cut but now Im thinkin it was a big mistake. This team would not have a losin record right if we had Quincy. Quincy would never be da man in Dallas but we woulda had a better chance at a 10-6 record with him. Quincy would have been nice to have until Henson was ready and this team would have kept winnin.

No getting rid of QC was not a MISTAKE!

Picking VT as a replacement was.

How can you say that? What else do you see in that crystal ball? Teams had QC figured out at the end of last year. His many weaknesses forced Dallas to run a very basic offense. At least with Vinny, the play calling seems more creative and diverse.

I wished we didn't have a #1 defense last year, then carter's short comings wouldn't have been somewhat hidden last year...

I agree with you 100%.

I was saying this when they let him go. I am positive that Carter would have won that game today. I am a little less positive that he would have beaten the Giants yesterday. After all, he was 3-1 against them.

Vinny would have been a great back up qb. Now he is a mediocre starting qb with amazing limitations if everything isn't perfect.

Shakes head reading some of this QC stuff coming out.

Makes me wonder if some are smoking the same thing QC was smoking.

When ever anyone wonders what we could have had with QC just remember this....He had the ultimate chance to be the QB of the Dallas Cowboys, got drafted higher then he should have, got to play before he should have, became a spazz when there was any threat of competition...and with all of that...he can not stay off the drugs.

No thank you, I am glad he is gone.

The only problem is that is NOT the reason we released QC.

..I'm a Vinny fan and not a Cowboys fan...so,I can look at the team objectively...they are good, they have two problems,Vinny's age..at 41...can he string 'good' games together and no running game...they should be 4 and 4 at the halfway mark..Fatso's teams do well the second half of the season...a 35/36 year old Vinny,I say...not to worry, but the 41 year old version...I just don't know...

Some people can't admit when they are wrong. Dude, it's over. Your boy got cut. What happened to the famous "Obviously there is something to Carter otherwise Bill Parcells wouldn't trust him." Well, Bill Parcells cut him. No other team gave him the chance to be their starter. Dennis Green didn't even approach him for the Arizona job and he was the guy that supposedly loved Carter. Al Davis didn't bat an eyelash toward him and they have QB problems.

The Cowboys won 10 games mostly against easy teams. Our wins came in the early half of the season before the Dolphins exposed our defense. Against teams that were .500 and higher, Carter's record was terrible.

It's time to take your beating like a man and move on. You were wrong.
