This is a rare day in which I'm posting three different threads. However, I think this is an important thread to show where we stand for now. So, I'm going to separate them by team. I'm going to examine our remaining schedule, the Giants remaining schedule, Philly's schedule, and the Vikings' schedule.

Dallas Cowboys (7-3):

Giants
Colts
Texans
@ Jaguars
Eagles
Titans
Commanders

NYG (7-3):

@ Cowboys
Commanders
Eagles
@ Commanders
@ Vikings
Colts
@ Eagles

Philadelphia Eagles (9-1):

Packers
Titans
@ Giants
@ Bears
@ Cowboys
Saints
Giants

Minnesota Vikings (8-2):

Patriots
Jets
Lions
Colts
Giants
@ Packers
@ Bears

So, here's the way that I see it in the best reasonable scenario. Let's assume that we win all but the Titans game, as I think we can do. That means we finish 13-4 and wouldve beaten the Giants, Eagles, and Commanders. This gives us a division record of 5-1. I think the Eagles (currently 9-1) likely lose to the Titans, Giants once, and us. They would lose out on division record because it means that they'd be 3-3 on the division. The Giants, who are 7-3, I think, will lose to us, Washington at least once, Philly once, and the Vikings. They'd finish with a 10-7 record. I think the Vikings, who are currently 8-2, will lose to the Lions (they usually drop at least one game to them and had a lucky escape at home to Detroit), Patriots, and I could see them also losing to the Packers. If this happens, then they'd finish 12-5. If that happens, we would win the NFC East and the top seed. Suffice it to say, I think we are in great shape by beating the Vikings.

iggles lose to GB. Put your house on it
I absolutely would. Big Daddy Rodgers is perfect @ the Linc and the Packers are hot and looking to #RunTheTable again.

The two and only two teams I'm super scared of in the playoffs this year are GB and TB because they have legendary playoff quarterbacks. Be very afraid of them. I think we beat the Niners and the Eagles and Vikings are pretenders.

Also, Randall Cobb is back. Be very afraid of that guy as the playoffs approach. Ultra clutch. And the Packers have the tendency to win those kinds of games on the road against upstart teams with better records. Look at their win @ Arizona last year when Arizona had a perfect record up to that point.

I could see that, but the Packers look down and out. Should they lose and we end up tied at the end with the Vikings, we still have top seed because we won today.

There are a lot of "ifs" in this post

Sure, and the fun part is analysing the potential results. The point of this thread is that we have a favourable schedule, and we did well winning today to put ourselves into a nice spot where the 1 seed is possible.

I always thought the Giants were smoke and mirrors. Now they are banged up too. They will limp down the stretch. They will win 2 or 3 games. I don't see them as a threat, especially after Thanksgiving

Minny has been lucky this year. Haven't won a game by double digits yet. I think it caught up to them today. 8-2 and has given up more points than they have scored.

Philly is very good. But even they are starting to leak oil. Colts probably should have won today.

If the Cowboys play like this, I like their chances. But consistency has always as issue with this team

We just need to avoid Thomas Edward Patrick Brady in the playoffs and we'll be in the Super Bowl, imo.

Most likely scenario is that they are #4 and we are #5. That means we go to Tampa.

But if the Cowboys can play like today, they would win easily. The problem is that they have no history of playing well in the playoffs in a generation.

TB may not make the playoffs.
It will come down to the Commander's hosting the Failcons next weekend. I think the commanders win... Atlanta is worse by far and has been lucky not good so far this year with an easy schedule. Loser is pretty much out while winner has inside track to get a wild card. Though Tampa does have a tiebreaker against Atlanta.

Commanders could be spoilers here against the Giants, and Giants spoilers to the Eagles.

We just need to keep winning.
Eagles could drop their next 3 games.
It's a shame actually, because IMO the comanders are one of the most 10 complete teams in the NFL and well coached also. If they hadn't made the mistake of starting Wentzy-poo early in the season instead of Big D. Heinecke, they would be 8-3 instead of 6-5 at this point.

We've got one more game on the road?

Lions beat them today. But the Lions are better than people realize. I said that when we played them.

Our division is still up in the air, especially since we play Philthy one more time.

I think the Cowboys are strong enough to get the #1 seed in the playoffs.

We shall see.
