was with Bledsoe at QB and it was in Philly.

LOTS of things have changed. Romo has gone 6-2... an Owens drops & the one loss a botched kick and the other loss to his co-creator.

WE WILL NOT lose to the Eagles. If the Giants werent a bunch of sissy-witches... they would have won yesterday.

Man I wanna go to this game.

I like your fan attitude, but I don't think our team is taking this as an easy win.

The Eagles offense is good, Garcia is looking for redemption and Westbrook is always tough against the boys. Our defense needs to step it up.

Watching the Chargers D and how they played their linebackers on delayed blitzes and how they put them in a position to make plays made me envious of a good D-coordinator. We need one. Our guys play conservative and seem to not play instinctively. Its almost like we coach it out of them.

[rant off]

This won't be an easy win, no matter where we play Philly. All you have to do is look to the Saints game as a clear indicator of that.

No saying it will be easy but... we need to use the Eagles aggression against them... they admitted after first game that it was all about TO not beating them... they talked about it alot before the game amongst themselves.

Now we gotta get TO involved early and force them to make mistakes.... PI calls, TO and TD's etc....

Drew is not back there to wait for the sack to happen... maybe with Romo we use shotgun a little more so he can scramble when needbe... its seems to be the consensus that you keep Romo in pocket to beat him....

Please, Garcia sucks, he is playing out of his head, wont work against us. Yes Westbrook is dangerous no doubt but he is no Tiki Barber.

I said weeks ago this is the toughest game for us because it is a division game, however I like our chance's allot we got beat by the aints, and I don't think they will take these guys that lightly,

so heres to a very Merry X-mass, and to the second seed in the NFC

True.

But know this, no matter what Jack Johnson is going to bring the blitz from all directions no matter if it is Romo or Bledsoe under center.

On another note, Gawd I hope the Eagles fans dont take over Texas Stadium like they did in 2004.

Ok folks here it is, Three's keys to victory on Xmas day...

  1. Stop the run and screen plays.
  2. Pound the rock with MB3.
  3. Hit them with Witten and Fasano because you know they will key on T.O. and Glenn.
  4. Stop their TE and do not allow deep balls!

I think the Eagles offense matches up pretty well against the Cowboys defense. Hopefully the play of Karney, Bush, and Justin Griffith over the last couple of weeks will force Zimmer and co. to shore up the LB coverages.

The one positive thing I have noted about the Garcia-led Eagles offense is that Garcia often checks down when he has a lot of time in the pocket. McNabb, OTOH, always seemed to gash the Cowboys deep when he had extra time.

As poorly as we played in the first game with Bledsoe, although some one this board would not see that as a negative, and as bad as we played we still had a chance to tie the game with a minute left. I love having a BIG home game in late December!

I take it you dont like Zimmer.

Other than our problem at the corners [Henry and Glenn], the loss of Ellis, and our earlier Saftey problems, I think he's done a excellent job.

Our Defense "aint that bad"

Regardless.... Romo is better avoiding the Blitz than Bledsoe...

Correction: Romo can avoid the blitz and Drew cant.

Yes. If we dont learn/fix that based on current muffs... we dont deserve anything.

Yeah.. but I dont trust Jeff... he might try. Hope Watkins can make a big play or two. I wonder if we see any Parrish?

You're right. I think that there are a number of defensive coordinators in the league (G.Williams, J.Johnson, Rivera, etc...) that would be able to do much more with the talent that we have currently. Yeah, we lost Ellis, but every team at this point has lost a playmaker or two on D.

Is he terrible? No. Does he try hard? I'm sure. Should he be coaching the Cowboys D next year? If you're satisifed with a half-full glass, then yes.

We came into this season with high hopes for a D that looks lost at times. And if you answered the question honestly, you would have to say that our D is probably our biggest weakness right now, when our O should be the ones struggling due to (new O-linemen, new, undrafted QB, etc...).

If Philly still had McNabb I would be really scared. It'll be hard to stop em without McNabb, but moving the ball on them wasn't a problem with Bledsoe.
