Remember CJ Okoye is still available on the Ravens PS

If you sign a guy from another teams practice squad they have to be active.

I wanted him on waivers and let him develop on PS, not sure making him active over Toia makes much better right now.
Didn't know that.....thanks G

Found a quote of his from NFL.com back when he was still with the Chargers

"I have never played football, just magically got a sack".

Sounds better than " I don't like football. I just like to hit people".
Does it though lol? Neither statement sounds good lol.

When signing a player from another NFL team's practice squad, another team must sign the player to their active 53-man roster, not directly to their own practice squad. This signing guarantees the player a minimum of three weeks' salary and counts against the acquiring team's roster for three weeks. There are also restrictions on signing a player from the upcoming opponent and a rule for players not being able to sign to a practice squad from another practice squad unless they are waived or released first.

Passed through waivers without a claim....but straight to the Cowboys 53? Big jump.

Never thought I’d say this but DT don’t worry as much as LB
Murray is trash

Why isn’t Marist getting more snaps?

I think it boils down to whether Okoye is better than Toia, at least in the minds of the Cowboys. It's not about Mazi at this point. The Cowboys will activate 2 NT, one being Clark. The other this week was Toia. Okoye is intriguing but I did no watch him play in pre-season so I can't opine on a comparison to Toia. I think I would just cut Mazi at this point and put Flournoy on the 53 man roster.

It is disappointing when a first round pick busts, especially a DT after not having drafted one in the first round since 1991, but there is no sense prolonging the inevitable.

I second this post, my same thoughts on Okoye.
