Remember how we were bad for needing OT to beat Chiefs?

Yeah, beating a divisional rival by 1 point isn't anything to worry about. Chiefs beat the Steelers, Raiders beat the Bengals. No team is totally invincible every single week.

I remember how Dallas was so pathetic because they had to go to overtime to beat the Chiefs. I wonder what those same people think now that the mightly Steelers had to go to overtime against them and then lost in that overtime to them. I imagine there will be a million and one excuses for why it's ok that it happened to the Steelers.

It's football. Those are the kinds of games you've got to be able to win.

Agree that beating the cheifs by 1 point is nothing to worry about. Something to be concerned about is our past two weeks offensive performance.

Is it? We just happened to face two of the best secondary's in the league. We weren't going to torch them up. Deadskins may suck but their secondary is elite. Packers as well.

its just the way it is.

Had we lost we would have been called soft and the media and most of this board would be making posts about our team being soft.

We didnt beat carolina by enough or pretty enough.
We didnt beat kc by enough or pretty enough.
Now we didnt beat washington pretty enough.

The media will never give Dallas credit for anything, so that is a waste of time hoping for and the fans of this team are part stupid, part clueless and almost always have absurd expectations.

Pay it no mind. Just know that we are winning games on days that in the past we would have lost and that is because we are a team and all 3 units are playing together.

And how good has our defense looked? It singlehandedly kept us in the game against the Commanders, and even Packers (until the fluke fumble which even wasn't a fumble). Granted, they do give up the occasional big play on 3rd down, but this defense is looking MUCH better than at the time when we were facing the Chiefs.

If both sides of the ball were clicking at the same time... man oh man.

The Saints and Colts have caught EVERY break in the book as of Today law of averages say it won't be this way too much longer and there are both do for some some kind of bad games they better hope it isn't in the playoffs

Exactly...but the sky caves in for some posters here when we lose a game. Their expectations are insane.

Unless you have a precision passing team built on a great quarterback and receivers who run great routes-----you aren't 8-0.

Who knows with receivers like Terry Glenn I think this team could easily be 8-0 right now.

Nevertheless we are a team that can win any week or lose any week (like almost all the teams).

Saw this coming a MILE away. I was hoping no one would say it, but oh well...

Patriots/Colts, Jags/Colts, even today against the Ravens, Colts should have lost. An interception near the goal line? Come on... they're the luckiest team I have ever seen.

As for the Saints... yeah, impressive 5 point win against the Rams last week. I'm convinced, best team ever.

I have my coworker Steeler fan running his mouth to me about our "boring snooze fest" game today. When we win like this there is no style with our W and there is "something wrong in Dallas." If the Steelers win 7-6 it's Steeler football. I'm tired of that garbage.

SHUT THE HECK UP STEELER FAN AND EAT THAT FAT LOSS TODAY!!! We took care of business today and in OT when we played the Chiefs.

Just stubborn I guess.

I've already addressed this. There is no way either team finishes the regular season with an unblemished record. This is what, the 5th time in the past 8 years the Colts have started 10-0? Something ridiculous like that.

I'm curious to see what success the Saints and Colts have in the playoffs. Seems like the past few years the #1 team in each conference gets bounced early, except for the 2007 Patriots (and how did that end?).
