He was a guy mentioned who could be traded at the deadline, wonderfully he survived being traded. What role does he have in this offense, will he be a healthy scratch, will they allow Mingo to dress?? Please give your thoughts

Hopefully inactive unless they just use him to run go routes, because that TD catch is one of the few times, I haven't seen ball hit him in hands, and he drops it stalling a drive.

No not roll I mean role sheesh, will he be active every week, will be just be coming in to be a blocking dummy on run plays or unsuccessful attempts to do screens
Did this really need a thread?

Was is breaking news? Something new? Something original.

My thoughts are you should maybe give it some more thought before starting a thread.

Like, ask, do we really need this? What does this add that we don't already have.

we're pretty much one Ceedee Lamb or Pickens injury away from him playing more time than we could ever imagine!!

Nope forgot about him completely….just like most of the other draft picks the past five years or so

Can he play safety?

I see constructive criticism doesn't go over well with you.

You asked for my thoughts.

Quality over quantity. That's what I think.

And impulse control.
you don't qualify to give me anything like that, a guy like Bobhaze i'd take it from him!! Hell you're not even Bill Parcells!!

I agree with you, didn’t need a thread for this. He’s still here obviously he has a role, whether people believe it or not

role =insurance ie inactive and if injuries hit hes there...Next year=GONE

Remember Mingo..lol That's a far worse waste of space than Tolbert tolbert has done some things the last couple years you may not like him but at least he's done some things for this team he's had a couple good catches some big catches last year was 600 yards seven touchdowns He's gotten pushed down the roster a bit but Mingo a foreground pick hasn't even got a pass from Prescott yet One full year of games now I'm betting that is who we should be talking about...

And by the way I think the Cowboys need to shrink their targets I would just roll with your best two wide receivers and give them as much love as possible and then occasionally hit your tight end which will last two weeks has been horrible and then you can see if there's scraps left for Flournoy but I wouldn't worry about anybody down there turpin's not been doing really well either he's dropping stuff he looks to be hesitating used to he just took off with the ball both on special teams and on offense and now he's kinda dancing we can't have you dancing back there bro and dropping passes nothing big it's time for him to take a seat special teams only the occasional jet sweep guy that's it

That you needing a little special thing just for Tolbert it can include Turpin And mingo I could care less what they do down the stretch

We need to focus on the stars and that's it all the play designs all the target should be going to them if George Pickens and CD Lamb can't get it together and do what they did in Cincinnati with old Joe Flacco then we're in trouble I know it starts with the offensive line but I don't care about anybody but feeding Williams and getting balls to Lamb and Pickens that is it everybody else staying in block or sit on the bench and watch..

You know baseball teams and I believe they do it and they NBA as well I don't know but I know they shrink their rosters for the playoffs,

well we're not going to the playoffs but we can shrink our roster and be more myopic in the play calling and the designs..

it needs to be the game plans to do just what I said don't worry about everyone else I don't care what the defense is doing you forced the issue with those two dudes Lamb ,Pickens, and Williams ,just shove it down their throat and keep doing it.....

I don't care about Ferguson anymore either I know he's supposed to be AA security blanket but I'd like to see more of Ford but really bring up fairweather, not fant..NO SCHOON

But if that offensive line can't block without help then I say tight ends now just became useless Leave him on the bench bring in two extra tackles stay up on the line give Dak time and I guarantee between Williams, Lamb, and Pickens , just play that small ball, It's like a pick up game use your superstars and that's it...

rant over.

BYE Tolbert, mingo, schoon, and Turp, less Furgeson etc etc

12 Personnel except for you just keep your tight ends the blocking type or use your extra tackles and just have Williams in the backfield and the only two guys going out for routes would be Lamb and Pickens....

The Great Coog on Cowboys Zone is similar to Reggie Jackson on the yankees....the straw that stirs the drink.
