It's not really a play that defense specifically prepares for so I think we could utilize it again. I'd like to keep the offensive game plan straightforward though, if possible.

True...but if snacks is eating our lunch again ...it could be a great wrinkle.

Keep in mind that that same play was attempted by Beasley earlier in the year to the opposite side. Just a bit off. It's in the playbook and teams have to prepare for it.

I really wished we would have saved that for the playoffs.

Having said that...i have a sneaking suspicion we are going to unleash some of those type plays now that the playoffs are about to begin.

thoughts?
It's one of many reasons the Pats are so successful. Aren't afraid to add a new wrinkle in the playoffs and it helped them stage a comeback vs Baltimore.

I think that's why they showed it. Put the thought of it in the minds of the defense

Make them defend every conceivable option. That can also be an option throw for Dez. Throw if he's wide open (as was the case), tuck and run if not.

Almost forgot about that !! The NFL Channel lets you go back and watch old Super Bowls and I went back about 5 times and watched all 5 wins. The one in Jan 1972 where Dallas beat Miami 24 to 3 was great, I was just a kid then, and I still rem the game.
Me too. That was a great game!
