Slightly off-topic.

Dallas lost by two points to the Giants.

Shortly before the end of the half, Tony Romo threw a pass behind Jason Witten which ricocheted off his back foot directly into a Giant defender's hands four yards outside the red zone.

Three plays later, New York scored a touchdown (e.g. six points).

Question.

How would you define that particular play as a 'fluke'?

The Cowboys had plenty of chances to recover from that. It happened in the 2nd quarter.

You should strip the word 'fluke' from your vocabulary completely and absolutely.

Pathetic.

Let me ask you this.

Was it a fluke that Tony Romo threw a horrible pass on that play?

So every team has an excuse except the Cowboys?

Man if I used my ignore feature you'd definetely be on it.

You really should use it. When you put guys like this on ignore it really takes a lot of the stupidity right off the board for you. There are only a few on my ignore list but it's made this place a lot more enjoyable. You can still argue, and discuss, things with the people who don't like things about this team but you can do it without having to read the posts of those who are complete idiots.

Of course not. Bad passes aren't normally defined as flukes. If they were, there would be hundreds of fluke passes thrown not only in the NFL every season, but also during thousands of football games throughout the country every year.

Get a grip.

Bad passes happen every single game. It is not commonplace for a football to bounce of the heel of a receiver regardless of how great or poorly the ball is thrown. What's next from you? "The Immaculate Reception happens every game???"

The Broncos are proof that in this league, it's not who you play it's when you play them.

No. What you do is trolling. "Being realistic and telling the truth", is not what you do.

What's not realistic and truthful about this topic, for example?

You were never a fan of Dallas the series?

Darn. :(

Ahh, Well I used to catch a few episodes here and there when my grandparents would take care of me. It's coming back to me. She was a hottie, married to Bobbie right?

Kristin? Married to Bobby? Heck no. She was Sue Ellen's sister. Her contribution to the series made worldwide television history--which is why I needle Monster Heel about it constantly. ;)

And if they think hard enough it'll spoil the best cliffhanger ever :lmao2:

but I guess if they hadn't watched the show by now, they never will.

Well now, they're showing their true mediocre colors. 3 losses in a row including one to one of the dregs of the league. All I kept hearing was how it was acceptable for Dallas to lose that game because they were a good team. Yeah, didn't buy it then and not buying it now. Next week the Chargers will pass them in the AFC West race and you won't hear anymore about the Broncos for the rest of the year. I suspect that the same thing will be happening with Green Bay in short order.
:puke:

That is all.

Oh wait she was the one who threw a monkey wrench in the show that caused the drama/collapse of the empire right?

I may be wrong, but I think you're referring to a plotline which happened many seasons later. I remember Cliff Barnes finally getting Ewing Oil at one point and another time JR was practically blackmailed out of the company.

- The Bengals lost on a fluke play.

- The Pats have hardly been world beaters and it's not like Josh McDaniels doesn't know that team inside and out.

- The Chargers are an intradivision opponent for the Broncos. Anything can happen on those games and the Chargers weren't playing particularly well at the time.

The Cowboys, on the other hand, just got flat out beat by a mediocre team they had no excuse to lose to.

Lol, nice excuses. :lmao:
