We are doomed.

We have been for the oast 10 years or so.

There is NOTHING we can do.

Negativity, negativity, and more negativity.

Doooooooooooooooooooooooooooooomed.

;)

I like to think back to the 90s when times get tough like they have been.

Aikman, Emmitt, Irvin... Ahhh, those were the days.

I think the bigger pansies are the ones acting like this past season is acceptable from this coaching staff.

Bigger pansie you decide

A) One who has put the past behind them and is moving on to next season

B) One who is still crying about whats already done, and crying about what they think may happen in the future.

hmmm tough choice

i still wanted Parcells gone at that time although obviously i didnt scream it out because i would just been considered a hater and whatever. He came here to help us win SB's not just win a couple games in the regular season.

I love Parcells the GM, but would prefer a different Coach. I question his coaching techniques and playcalling and think they may be outdated. Nothing negative, just stating my view.

Its almost funny now, but I remember thinking this was tooo good to be true. What did I/we do to deserve this joy? Little did I know.

I don't agree with the Parcells haters. Have been a consistent supporter/fan of his since day one.
Do I /did I agree with every move, has he been perfect. Of course not, and I'm sure he'd admitt to quite a few himself.

I really think that most of the members who want Parcells out of here, fail to understand a few things. A few simply have an agenda. They see him as some gruff Jersey guy who doesn't belong here coaching thier Cowboys.

As far as the rest of you without an agenda, here's what you need to realize.

1) We're close. I mean we are real real close. A lot closer than most think. It's not easy to be objective when you're in soo much pain.

When you have a splitting headache, it's hard to be optimistic about how well your back, feet and the rest of your body feels.

Go ask the fans of the other 23 teams not playing this weekend what they think of us. See how many might be willing to trade rosters and coaching staffs.
Then go ask the same question to the fans of this weekends losers.

We are an elite franchise. More coaches and players would kill to come here than any other franchise.

We have a lot of the key pieces in place.
Some of the hardest pieces to find.

We have an excellent young QB, perhaps a special player with years ahead of him.
We have a dynamic pas rusher, a real force, a game changer. He only 22-23.
We have three quality OT's and a pretty good OC.

OG killed us all year, especially in the running game down the stretch.
Big time FA $ and draft picks must and will go here.
It is one of the easier team positions to fill/upgrade.

We have two excellent game changing WR's whose skills actually compliment each other. Fast, quick, small and fast, strong, tall. We also have some nice young talent behind them that did somethings on the field this year.

I whole heartedly believe 95% of our problem on defense was coaching.
Opponent evaluation and gameplanning and in game decisions.

The most critical decision we make this year is who will be our next DC.
This person needs to be strong and more aggressive minded than Parcells.
He must command the players and Parcells respect.
If he can do that than he can be more aggressive.
Play pass more often, with DL shooting gaps and stunting more often to get to the QB.
I'd like someone who believes in shifting from 3-4 to 4-3. Likes to change things up.
I want someone who is dedicated to the idea of Roy playing within 10 yards of scrimmage.
Let this dynamic player of ours play to his strength. Play the run, blitz, and when he's in coverage, let him use his physicality. Give him a chance to cover one on one within 5 yards. TE, RB, WR. It doesn't matter, as long as he's in the box banging these players.
Don't put him in a position where he's 20 yards down field trying to pick up with a WR in full flight, where he can't touch him. Or where he has to cover a lot of ground in a zone.
