On NFL Network now. Hasn't done much yet besides kill the Rhein Fire RB on a false start. He looks alot bigger than his brother. Don't know if he has any chance of making the roster though.

Yeah I saw that too. He kinda resembles Jason ferguson in terms of his build. I wish he could play like Fergy!

I seem to recall that on a ticket interview right after the draft Ireland stated his belief that Ratliff, Bowen or even Stanley could get the job done. Cowboys at that time, anyway, didn't believe drafting/signing a backup to Ferguson was as big a prirority as we Cowboy fans believe. Doubt any of us will believe that until we see one of these players step up behind Ferguson. The Cowboys do believe Ratliff is a good DE with a quick step as well and I think that's where Ratliff likes to play and not at DT.

Well, Ratliff was used at DT/NT a lot last year even though he is listed as a DE. I think what the Cowboys like most about him is his versatility and motor.
