As always, posting quotes by players, coaches, team/NFL personnel, etc. must also include a source link, video, OFFICIAL tweet (not some random person saying it), etc. in the post.

The reason this rule has always been in place is because sometimes users misquote what was said or state it out context which makes the person being quoted appear to be saying something completely different than what they actually said or meant.

We have also had a problem with some users posting fake rumors started or promoted by social media wannabe's who are desperate for followers, views, etc.

Providing official or established sources (not random bloggers, tweeters, etc.) helps let everyone know that what is being quoted is indeed what was actually said.

    Re-posting this as a reminder.

When you post something quoting a player, coach, Jerry, etc. you need to include an official source link or media with your post so the quote AND context can be confirmed.

A tweet or video from a random person on the internet no matter how many followers does not count as "official" ..

This the last warning about this!

If you post breaking news, you BETTER have a source link or media embed from an official/reputable source!
