The Eagles are a better coached team and a better ran organization, there is a huge difference between them and the Commanders (and they are better than Dallas in those regards too)

What about Juan Castillo's defensive coaching impresses you?

You have a normal off season. I am not believing the hype.

Well, we've been overhyped in recent years, so maybe you're right.

Why is a comparison of a division rival obtaining Deion Sanders and Bruce Smith to a different division rival obtaining Nnamdi Asomugha and Cullen Jenkins dumb?

Of course there are other factor like Reid having a better organization and Sanders and Smith being better players but last time I checked it was division rival with CB and DL in both cases.

The comparison is apt even if it doesn't tell the whole story.

The Eagles have proved during the last decade to be one of the best run teams in the NFL. I think they know what they're doing a hell of a lot better then any other NFCE team. Last season was a rebuilding year for them and they won the East.
We keep laughing at the moves they make yet they've missed the playoffs what, twice in the last decade? turning their roster almost completely over several times

What wi;; be interesting is how all thes players get along. The Eagles are a well ran oranization, and always seemed to have plenty of cap room. Signed players as they needed, but yet managed the cap.

Now the have 3 starting CB's with big money. $20 million from what ESPN said. Then they sign Cullen Jenkins, Young, and whoever else. What is their cap now, and what will it do to it in the years to come. Maybe they will be ok, I have no idea.

So this tells me they are going for it all right now, because soon this team won't be able to compete at this high level much longer. Unless they get lucky with drafts and FA's to continue. If Vick falls back, and Young isn't the answer, which I doubt, then QB will be a problem soon.

Saying all that, if we just take care of our own business, we shouldn'r be worried about what the agles are doing.

Besides the FAs they signed that team is still pretty young they'll have more then a few years to get it done

Yet they have nothing to show for it. The giants are a better organization imo.

Are they a better run organization? really? Sure if you want to make the playoffs and choke every year. 4 consecutive championships and all they got was 1 superbowl loss where nugget was pukeing and Andy "the genius " reid sat there and did nothing. THAT WAS FUNNY!!!! I love the talk of is VICK better the Steve Young? NO!!! I hated Young when he was with the 49ers but he was good. They still have to pay Mike Vick and jackson a kingsize ******* is holding out. They are a powder keg, set to implode. the will start strong and self destruct come playoff time.
Have you noticed how signing Vince Young has become the greatest move is the history of the NFL....... HYPE! They better hope he is cause Vick will get hurt and miss games like he always does.Young is mentally soft. Good luck with him. Namdi is a upgrade for them . The problem is who is going to not be a starter between namdi cromartie and samuels? Andy the genius reid said they had done that before.......if i remember correct lito cried all year about not getting time ..blah blah blah. It will happen again. Unless they trade one then Namdi doesnt wield as much of a bite. prossman

As others have said, I have my doubts that Vick will be as strong this year and his health will always be a concern. Vince Young is a downgrade from Kolb.

Also, Philly is a tough place to play when expectations are high. They scare me more when they're underdogs.
