Replacement Referees?

Per FoxSports, the NFL is scouting replacement refs in case they can't reach agreement with the regular refs on a labor deal.

The ones we have now are bad enough, we don't need a downgrade.

IIRC, the last time the NFL rolled with replacement referees, the refs actually let the players play a lot more.

This was my first thought. I'm tired of seeing certain refs and just knowing that we'll be playing against them as well as the other team. Get some new guys out there who are trying to make an impression by calling good games. It's not like the refs we have are so great. They blow calls left and right. Who knows, maybe a penalty will be called when Ware is tackled by an OL out in front of everyone?
