Do you know how much?
There were some rumors that the last season he coached for Dallas (2033) they were paying him basically the lower portion of the head coach salary range (4 to 4.5 million). The young HCs like the coach for the Viking, Bengals, and Packers are in that general range

Not even going to read all of the responses ahead of me when i say, this is the Niners playing us again to take someone they are looking at...can you say Lance?

It's a shame so many great coordinators get lured away to become crappy head coaches... and the crappy head coaching is partly due to the lack of quality coordinators available!
I'm not sure the final chapter has been written about Saleh as a head coach. Plenty of coaches have failed with the Jets and I don't think A Rodgers did Saleh any favors. JMO.

Where are the CLOWNS here who wanted no part of Saleh to Dallas now?

Winning organizations recognize great coaching.

Oh really? No “incentive based” deal?

Jerry is losing it and quickly. Meanwhile the kid likes anything that’ll save money.
Steph coupon clips daily.
It's become his obsession.

There is a team who had an equally miserable season as we did, but actually don't sit on their hands wondering what move to make next. Still a ton of issues, but getting Saleh as DC would be massive for them
This sounds like some hot take, but it’s not.

They have a HC. You don’t hire a DC before a HC. They also already had him as DC.

In fact, it’s more similar to the Cowboy and Moore than it might appear.

If the Cowboys signed a new OC today, without a HC, it would be the end times at the Zone.

So...
Deion as HC
Kingsbury as OC
Saleh as DC
Jason Witten as TE coach
Micheal Irvin as WR coach and authorized dealer of hookers and blow

Pay the OC and DC 7 million a year and head coach 10 million a year.

Let the show begin. Win or lose it would be interesting.

Obviously I am against this accept for Saleh as a DC.

So, you are saying you want Saleh as the a cowboys head coach.
Nope. I'm saying he's the best defensive coach out there and the Niners are basically going to give him the same amount of money he was making as Jets HC. Do you think Jerry would pay a coordinator 5M a year?

He led a dominant defense as a HC and as a DC.

The 49ers would take Saleh as HC before Kellen Moore, I'll tell you that much.
His teams sucked. Being better than kellen isn't hard to be. Zimmer was a better hc than Saleh but of course yall don't want to accept that truth
