That is not surprising. He really has not done much in Chicago. Of course he has not had much to work with up there.

Let him go work with his brother in San Diego and let us have Clarence Shelmon back as our RBs coach.

Just a thought.

Hos, forgive my ignorance, but who is Clarence Shelmon. I have honestly never heard of him. I guess I just dont pay enough attention to the assistant coaches.

Clarence was our RB Coach at one time. I think 1998 to 2000. He was also a RB coach at the University of Arizona and I knew some people who really respected him. I just like the guy a lot.

well after I posted I decided to look him up. He has a nice resume and has worked with some very good backs.....especially Emmitt and LT.

If we could pry him away from the Chargers that would be quite nice. However, since he is the OC, I dont think we can steal him with a demotion.

So I guess Norv would have to can him and hire his bro.....but, to be honest, with the way the Chargers O has been kicking butt this season, I just dont see that happening.

But we can drop to our knees, bow our heads, close our eyes, put our hands together, and pray to the Greatness above and ask for such a gift.
