Report: Bengals will not sign T.O.

2/22/2010 8:12:17 PM

Bob Glauber of Newsday reports via Twitter source familiar with Bengals' situation tells me there are no plans to sign Terrell Owens.

Team also regrets Laveanues Coles signing in 2009.

I just don't see a team out there, other than Raiders crazy enough to sign him. Although considering Skins track record, they might, i.e. with Shanahan in the fold ( it was remoured that Denver was the other suitor when Cowboys signed him). Bears is the other remote possibilty perhaps.

I want to see him as a Commander. They are bad enough he won't help them and I'd like us to kick has butt twice a year.

I think Carson Palmer's head would have exploded.

But seriously, that sucks if even the Bengals wont sign you.

It really pains me to say this but TO is still more talented than all but one WR on this team. Not saying I want him back but he has enough talent to go somewhere in this league IF he will take the offers given to him. It won't be for huge money anymore but he can contribute somewhere.

Talent was never a question for TO. Even now, he is still a No. 1 WR for quite a few teams in NFL. The question is, much like Randy Moss, is he worth the headache? Answer is resounding no. He never is and never was. One thing TO got over Randy Moss, is that, TO did perform in a playoff game pretty well, compared to Randy, who is one trick pony. But Randy is slightly less headache than TO.

ANyway, hated TO as cowboy, just like I did when Deion was. Both Superstars, and one sure fire HOF and other most likely should be, but in my opinions cancers on Cowboys team. But I guess one did payoff with a SB.

no doubt its the Commanders.

Old washed up big name player. That is snyders m.o.

I cant wait to see how many veteran players they bring in and then spend 3 months telling us how great they are as usual.

Terrell Owens has had great success in the West Coast offense ;)

I really hope he just ends up somewhere in the afc and we dont have to play him. Having to listen to his mouth and the local media talk about him for a whole offseason and then an entire week would be absolutely sickening.

I just pray he takes a payday somewhere like oakland so he can continue to pad his worthless stats.

I still think Atlanta will sign him. They have wanted him for years. He wont be the #1, he'd be 2nd behind White, and the 3rd option behind Gonzalez.

It may actually be a decent fit.

I know it's long shot, but fingers and toes crossed. Plus I have been saying some prayers recently.

Do what's right Jerry and bring him back to Dallas to finish his career.

If he was here last season the Cowboys would have beaten those darn Vikings!

And the best part...

Everyone who still has those #81 jerseys can break them back out for 2010!

A boy can dream can't he.

wrong thread, Hos

My guess is Hos is saying TO will have to take his act to the CFL with no active suitors in the NFL. Or he will retire.

I still think some team will bite.
