We will see how this goes. It sure would be nice if the players do lose faith. I have thought that he would eventually take a run at the USC job and maybe that becomes a reality

Kelly could be right. It could be all about the execution. Of course that comes down to personnel and he is the one who chose all the wrong personnel.

All indications since he was hired has pointed to him be out of his league. A gimmick scheme and college coaching style never has worked in the NFL.

Agreed. His scheme, when not "executed" properly really puts the pressure on the defense. Their defense is last in the league in time of possession. They are on the field almost 2 minutes more per game than the next to last team. Other schemes are a little more forgiving when not "executed" correctly. Those other schemes can still burn some clock. Kelly's schemes have no wiggle room.

He had a presser late in the week where he clarified that when he said poor execution he was including the coaches and himself in that equation. Said it was the media that assumed he was talking about players only.

Just FYI. Take it for what it's worth. Maybe truth. Maybe damage control. Though I don't think chip really cares that much about others perceptions and likely he was being truthful.

Its great that Chip is so focused and committed to his plan. Nothing will deter him from carrying it out. Keep those blinders on Chipper and full speed ahead!

Tomorrows game sure will be interesting.

Will be looking to see what their offense does

Hopefully we gave the Saints enough confidence that they can beat up on Philly and give Chip another week to come up with some excuses.

The other interpretation would be more in line with his proven track record of unfailing belief in his system. And for someone who doesn't care for other's opinion, he sure does make ridiculous statements to the media a lot.

This is pretty much what happens when you treat professional players as if they are college players. Hey Chip, you are the king of locker room in college but in NFL you are at the mercy of the players. If you are an a,hole, it will be you losing the job not the players. This guy might be a good X and O guy but his attitude is the problem. He will be gone end of this year or next year. He won't be missed.
