Report: Commanders interested in Shaun Rogers The Commanders have reportedly already "reached out" to free agent DL Shaun Rogers.
Per Fox Sports' Jay Glazer, Rogers is expected to visit the Commanders this week, perhaps as soon as Friday. With Albert Haynesworth as good as gone this offseason, Rogers would be a replacement at nose tackle. Rogers can still get after quarterbacks, but he's no longer a top-notch run stuffer.

Sources close to Shaun Rogers say the Commanders have reached out and he could possibly visit them this week, even as early as tomorrow.

That doesn't surprise me one bit regarding the Commanders.

Get two fat, overpaid, lazy players. :lmao2: :lmao:
Rogers was deemed a lazy player coming out of Texas, and it showed when he was drafted by the Lions.

Let the Commanders have him I'm all for it matter of fact I'm counting on it.

Shaun Rogers may visit the Commanders

As Florio pointed out this morning, recently released players like defensive tackle Shaun Rogers can sign with a new team immediately.

While many teams hide behind the labor uncertainty, it’s no surprise that the Commanders could take a different approach.

Jay Glazer of FOX reports that Rogers has spoken with Washington and could set up a visit with the team, perhaps as early as tomorrow. Surely Rogers’ camp hopes that another team gets involved to potentially drive up Rogers’ price.

God please let this happen. One lazy pile backing up another lazy pile. One little backup in the buffet line and they'll eat Shanahan.

The Commanders will get one NT free agent, that's for sure. I was worried it was going to be Soliai but Rogers fits Dan Snyder's style. I'd watch out for Houston in the Soliai market now

I call dibs in being one of the first to say that Washington was going to call on him.

Loser organizations sign players like Rogers.

It's all going to be different with Shannahan and Bruce Allen running the show.
