Jerome Henderson will no longer be coaching the Dallas Cowboys defensive backs.

According to FOXSports.com, Henderson will be joining the Miami Dolphins' staff.

Henderson, who spent four seasons with the Cowboys, was coaching in the final year of his contract. He interviewed for the Cleveland Browns' head-coaching job on Friday.

Henderson was hired as the Cowboys' secondary coach in January 2012.

That when Henderson was allowed to coach the DB's as press/man corners, like he was hired to do, they played significantly better?

Atlanta and New Orleans chewed up our man coverage with their rubs. Secondaries have be multiple and not one dimensional, if position coach can't teach and communicate that then teams will figure you out and exploit you.

I agree adjustments should have been made, but I don't hear you calling for Marinelli's head. Man defense can combat and even beat rubs. You just have to scheme and adjust for it. We have a head coach who refuses to scheme and adjust to an individual opponent, so I have a hard time really faulting coordinators or position coaches.

When a position coach is thought of as one of the best in the game, after several stops, and then suddenly doesn't seem to be getting production, I would tend to wager it's due to something out of his control.

Henderson has been lobbying for more man coverage since Kiffin got here. So yes, the burden falls on the position coach first and foremost.

First of all, nothing falls on the position coach "first and foremost". Now you're just being argumentative because I know you're smarter than that.

Secondly, the secondary played significantly better once they went to man coverage...

What's your point? Sounds like you're making mine for me.
