The Dallas Cowboys are already underway in the plan to improve at key positions this offseason.

On Tuesday, the team reportedly worked out CFL star wide receiver and kick return ace Quincy McDuffie, in the hopes he can impress them enough to land a potential futures contract.

The 26-year-old McDuffie was a standout at the University of Central Florida but went undrafted in 2013.

He was signed out of the UDFA pool by the Denver Broncos, but was waived with injury designation and eventually released altogether. He'd then head north of the border and sign on with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats the following season before ending up with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 2016.

I that video was any indication at all, it looks like this guy has some explosion, nice moves and speed that kills. I'll be looking forward to seeing him do his thing with the Cowboys and would be willing to bet you are too. Lucky might not be feeling too lucky right about now. They'll be fighting it out between them and may the best man win.

If this kid can push him out that's all good
But may not be as easy as some think

Why not? If anything, Whitehead has gotten worse, not better. Not involved at all as a receiver, and removed from on t returns late in the season. The experiment was a failure, time to move on.

Didn't look like a natural hands catcher to me.
