Pats could save a ton of draft capital and just trade for Garrapolo

I have seen this thrown around allot. Jimmy is a 29 years old now. Maybe the Pats are tired of an old man (in NFL years) at QB and wants to get younger. Perhaps they are looking for particular skill set Jimmy has shown he doesn’t have. Maybe they are concerned with Jimmy’s infatuation with dating porn stars will interfere with Kraft trying to quit illegal prostitutes. My point is, maybe they just don’t want Jimmy. The fact they want move up in the draft kinda eliminates the thought the Pats are planning to just get Jimmy from scrapheap once the Niners dump him.

Patriots will have to pay a lot, I mean a lot. More than the steep price for #4 it's hard for me to see ATL trading Julio and not have his replacement (Kyle Pitts) on deck.

Seriously. QBs go 1-4. Sewell and Chase go after. All of a sudden we are three picks away from Pitts. Few ppl thought Lamb would be there at 17...it could happen again. I doubt it, but there is some hope

Niners are taking Lance. Pats are trading up for Fields. But they will have to beat the Bears who are desperate enough to do something a lot dumber than the Pats.

Then Bengals take Chase. Pitts is going to Miami.

Miami won’t pass on him and Carolina may not either. Highly unlikely imo that Pitts makes it to 10. But then again I didn’t think Lamb would make it to 17. Lol!

Well, I still remember the Falcons moving up from 27 to 6 in a trade with the Browns to get Julio. I thought they were crazy.

Yes, this. They traded him away in his prime to stretch the dream of a couple more years with Brady. It doesn't seem like a Pats move to go back, and this time with an aging vet. Although 29 isn't necessarily old for a QB. Fields would be great in NE.
