Sources tell the Baltimore Sun that the Ravens are gearing up to make a run at Bill Cowher to succeed Brian Billick as head coach.
Ravens officials could reportedly meet with Cowher by as soon as this weekend. Cowher, currently an analyst for CBS, has said he doesn't plan to return to coaching before 2009, but the idea of taking over a talented, veteran team could be intriguing.
