I love the Bruce Allen hiring. He likes players that are older than dirt and its a young man's game.

As if the division isnt tough enough, just what we need Shanny coaching the Commanders.

No worries.

I'm sure Snyder will find some way to screw it up.

As long as they keep Quincy Carter there we're safe.

The main thing I hate about Shanny going to Washington, is that we'll have to face that damn cut-blocking on their OL twice a year...

Not sure why the NFL allows that to go on...

This. And all his "Dirty Shanahan" antics too....

Too bad Fisher's Titans are not in the division. He would address it at the NFL meetings...

I remember when Joe Gibbs was hired the Commanders Troll that showed up with the dreaded "Joe Gibbs Lord of the Rings" signature, showing Gibbs looking over Texas Stadium and saying the party was over :laugh2: .

As long as Daniel Snyder is the owner, you will get the same results.

Commanders plane heading back from Denver 1/4/2010 1:49:47 PM

Jason Reid of the Washington Post reports the airplane of Commanders owner Daniel Snyder left out of Dulles International this morning and landed in Centennial Airport in Englewood, Colo., at approximately 10:45 a.m., according to sites that track flight plans.

The team will not comment before today's news conference, but it's worth pointing out that Mike Shanahan lives in the Denver area. We'll keep following the plane and let you know of any developments. It would seem that Snyder's plane would have to leave Denver at some point, right?

And that plane now is back in the air. It was headed east over Kansas, as of 1 p.m. General manager Bruce Allen wouldn't offer a time line for the naming of a new coach, but he said the Commanders would be aggressive.
Maybe NORAD can track it like Santa's flight. ;)

Too funny.

When they flew over Kansas, I wonder if he thought about this guy?

So if Zimmer gets the DC job in Washington, what are the odds his little puppy dog RW-31 is going to tag along? He only signed a 1 year deal with Cincy.

Jason Witten has to be salivating at the possiblity.

They might need a Chinook or C-130 if they wanted to fly him to DC.:D
