FOX Sports' John Czarnecki reports that Jason Witten (questionable, foot) "is expected to start" Thursday against Oakland.
It's just unclear how healthy Witten is and we'd still double check the pregame inactives. Foot sprains are often multi-week injuries. He isn't running downfield routes this season, and any lower-body injuries will further discourage playcaller Jason Garrett from using Witten as a seam stretcher. As usual, Witten will probably catch 3-5 balls around the line of scrimmage and block when the Cowboys are in goal-to-go situations. Nov. 26 - 10:55 am et
