So many on here are upset or focused on what fans feel or say about how they feel about the team or players on it. Like any of that actually matters. If the Cowboys are going to be contenders, they must perform better in all phases than they did today (against tough teams, in tough environments, dealing with injuries).

If you think this team has a monopoly on struggling through injuries, check all the teams' injury reports. Gotta beat the best to be taken seriously by other teams and by other teams' fans. That's the way respect happens. If you "believe" in the team, congrats on your unwavering faith-hope it works out for you.

Two of the last three games, the offense (including Dak) has looked incompetent and unprofessional. The unit that is supposedly among the very best. We'll see how the season shakes out including the playoffs. The team must make it to the conference championship and play extremely well to calm some obvious concerns on the ceiling of this group of players. Go out and win big games against the very best competition if you want to be taken seriously...

I'm actually happily surprised with the record of the team and did not foresee this much success happening this season. I guess being happily surprised is better than bitter disappointment, but at some point you gotta go out and earn everyone's respect if you are wanting it.

Beating the little teams but losing the big ones has been an issue for a while. And yeah it’s hard to trust a team in a playoff format if this offense isn’t consistent.

That's odd. I respect a team with a great defense more than I respect a team with a potent offense. Especially in the salary cap era. How many others feel this way?
