what the hell is up with, "we need respect", that we've heard about from 2 of the past 4 Super Bowl, participant teams, Pats and now the Seahawks? I mean, you're in the gawd, damned SUPER BOWL! **** up and be happy, and worry about winning the dang thing, instead of perceived recognition? that's why I miss the Cowboy dynasty years, they had a cockiness to them, and came in like "what? what chu gonna do?"

I thought what Mike Greenberg said about Seattle fans was right on. Something like "why do Seattle fans all feel disrespected by the media? I can understand the players, but why the hell do the fans care about what media schmucks like me think? You're in the Super Bowl! If the Jets ever got to the big show in my lifetime, Howie Long and Terry Bradshaw and Phil Simms and Tom Jackson could all say that they were the worst Super Bowl team in the history of football, and I wouldn't care, because my team was there."

but yeah, I agree totally, but my beef is this, it's one thing to win the Super Bowl, and scream "respect", but before the game is even played...

at least the Pats last year, had something to cry about, they already had 2 under their belts, even though I didn't necessarily agree with their thought process then, and still don't, but Seattle, c'mon now, play the dayum game!!!
