I can't wait till they start having you spend every Sunday getting squashed by a bunch of 250lb+ linebackers and lineman...but, looks like neither of us will get what we want.

:D
For millions of dollars to play a game I wouldn't be taking the day off unless I couldn't go. Then again I am old school and realize the importance of practice reps with my teammates. I get Romo and understand Romo but Dez...please..

Look you guys may not like the vets getting day off but considering the injures Romo and Dez went through we can't any chances. Besides, let the young guy get in on the first team reps, make their development processes develop even further.

Exactly, how many days off do Romo and Dez need? Hell they missed all of last season, they need reps too
They might as well get them some lawn chairs, and some drinks with umbrellas in them, and a real umbrella so they
dont get too much sun !!

Then on days they do practice, when they get tired or winded they could go sit down and sip their drinks in the shade till
they feel like doing some more plays.

It is part of the country club atmosphere, also it is paranoia that they may get hurt like kellen.

Love that even on Dez's day off he can't stop himself. He's moving around, catching passes from Choice, punting to himself--dude just loves football and can't sit still.

Easy to sit here and post about it but just "might" be hard to do out there on the field.
Does this really bother people? If so, they need to get away from the keyboard more often.

You would do what your coach told you to do.

People need to realize, they may have a day off...but it's a day off from the practice reps.
they are still doing some kind of conditioning or some kind of training.

They aren't just sitting on the sidelines eating twinkies....though some think Romo may be...:muttley:

I guess it is more in line with the NFL today. As I said I am old school. Then again I haven't taken a personal sick day in the past 12 years either. There is alot to be said about practice vs conditioning on the side on your day off.

Good for them, they don't need the practice.

This is not entirely true. QBs and WRs build chemistry in practice. Both are coming off injuries last year. Romo played just a handful quarters last year. Dez missed a good portion. They haven't played much together in awhile. They need to get back into their groove.

I think the jones boys, want all the key starters, to be ready come game 1 with the giants,So they may not work them much
at all just to make sure they dont get hurt.
Having kellen get a broken ankle right off the bat, only made this worse.

I think they need to practice, just in safe ways, and also play more in PS that usual, till they show they are ready to go
and in the groove.
