Devner is, without a doubt, this far into the season, the best team Dallas has faced this season. A game better than Dallas they'll be trying to run us down... but they might try a couple of bombs early to loosen up the DL... Gonna have to get some real good pass rush first and foremost... That has been hard to come by consistently the last couple of weeks IMO. Of course stopping the run is a must... Maybe Roy W. has something to say about the run this week? Maybe Burnett shows up this week?
The offense has to score early and get a lead we can hang onto... Julius has had subpar yardage and consistency basically for the last month... Time to show what kind of a team this is and get to the next month sittng pretty at 8-3, (I hope, I hope) We will be in December next game with 4 games to go and staying up with the Hawks, who play NYG this Sunday, and NYG we play after Thanksgiving... then throw in at DC & Carolina, home with KC & STL. Those games will all be major to our playoff run. Winning teams at that.
I'll be rooting for Seattle on Sunday because we will be that farther ahead of NY in our division and sitting pretty for the bye game, all hypothetical to this point, buuuut Even if NYG wins that will still bode well for NFC home field, again, hyyyypothetical. Anything is possible now however...
So tomorrow, let's grub on some turkey, dressing, salads, sweet potatoes, bunch of pies, etc. etc. etc. & - - -
