There is no right or wrong answer. They played all of the starters last year vs. Eagles' backups and still looked flat in the SF playoff game the next week. Tampa played everyone in their last game in 2020 and went to the Super Bowl. Cincinnati rested everyone in their final game last year and went to the Super Bowl. You're either good enough to win in the playoffs or you're not.

For me personally though, I'd rather take my chances with a roster full of rested starters.

It's simple, if the Eagles game is a blow out in the 3rd quarter, we pull most of our starters at that point. If not they keep playing
G men, can literally destroy the Eagles.

I highly doubt the igglets will lose to the gnats on Sunday. And TBH, with the games playing at the same time we should be able to see how their game is going and be able to make a decision on how we should proceed. But I fully expect Dallas to handle the deadskins without very much trouble as I believe that team has checked out on the season and their front office.

IMHO, we should at least consider resting our "indispensable" guys like Dak, Parsons, Zeke, Diggs and maybe a handful of others. Maybe only play them in the first half to get the game in hand and then sit them? Especially if the igglets are cruising.

What do ya'll think?
yes I agree, but do you think mm is that smart ?

Fat Mike will be scoreboard watching. But no way he takes any chances. If he rests players and both the Eagles and Cowboys lose, he might as well start packing.

IF up comfortably going in 4th....maybe sit a handful but I don’t feel this team can ease off the pedal. They haven’t earned the right to use cruise control.
Although I’m all in on this team and will be pulling hard for em....I’m really skeptical like many others.

If we get up by 3 tds and its 10 minutes left in the game, I am pulling Dak and company. Let Rush close the game.

Who says we are getting a big lead though? I think everyone had the same gameplan against Tennessee. While I the Cowboys get the W pretty easily by NFL standards this is still a professional team they are playing and the odds of a 28-3 halftime lead to let the backups take over isn't great.

I think you're either playing to win this game or you are using it as a bye week. Not sure there is an in between option unless you look up Q3 and see the Eagles have a huge lead over NYG.

gameplan to win and if either we are winning big or the eagles are, pull the starters.

easy enough.

we will see the scores, doubt if coaches and players on the sideline see it, unless its announced in the stadium.

I think we start the game with our starters, I doubt if the team is fully focused, so they may come out cold, but we are more talented and so that will take over. we will score a couple of times. the defense will get in a groove and we go up by a couple of scores. the score of the eagles game will be announced they will be up, and then the coach will start pulling starters. I think its a good approach. go through your normal preparation. start. and then get some rest. I would pull micah early. let the guy rest. don't let him get hit and exert too much. Rush will come in and continue the game and he will struggle a bit, but will have some success which will have the Rush-Crush crowd go wild....we end up with the 5th seed.

I keep the OL in tact. Nate Newton made a great point regarding this saying you cannot rotate your interior every 15 plays. Allen and Payne will eat you up.

I cautiously play the starters. Dak gets reps, Pollard, Lamb, Hilton are limited. Same on defense. Diggs, Parsons, Lawrence are limited.

Washington is starting Howell and likely without Robinson / Gibson.

Commanders are currently picking 14h. A loss and wins by other teams like New York Jets, Cleveland Browns, New Orleans Saints, and the Tennessee Titans they can push them to 10. A win they could slide to 18.

So you’re likely not going to get much fight from Washington.
Wow!!! You talking about 8 spots in the draft. Maybe the Cowboys should lose. In all seriousness this will be a glorified exhibition game with the Cowboys playing their starters for a half.
